For a while since my last album Ive struggled with my music to out do myself, to go beyond what I did before; I over complicated things. I wanted to impress myself, take my music beyond who I really was and so nothing I wrote was good enough for me. As the years have gone by I’ve changed a lot. I’ve decided to go back to a stark simplicity. An opaque and open field or palate if you will. Clear. Clean. Clarity. A sterile landscape for notes to hit home. This is an expression of myself, my ideas musically, artistically. A stark landscape for music to take shape into ideas, and imagination to run wild.
